Grauvieh

This medium-framed, alpine multi-purpose breed is bred by about 1,000 farms in the dry regions of the Inner Alps. Its particular trengths, i.e. an undemanding nature, optimal feed conversion, ease of calving, vitality, good conformation, functional udders and superior milk quality, come into their own in low-input systems above all.
